Introduction to the new blog

Hey, hi and hello. Welcome to Tears of Starlight by Analicia – A blog that is dedicated to the now of my life. Not the past, not the future (yet) but today, what I mean by this is that I am letting go of my past self.

Letting go of my past self was and is still very challenging for me to do. All while having so much childhood trauma, I lost myself… I don’t know who I am anymore. That’s okay because… I want and need to find her.

Wanting and needing to rediscover who I am has been brewing for so many years. So much anger and anxiety has also been brewing/created. Honestly, I feel like I need to give it all to god and trust in his plan that he has for me.

One reason why I changed my domain name to not have my name involved… I wanted a fresh start with the blog. As well as with everything else in my life, a clean fresh start is very needed.

Therefore, I am starting a new challenge tomorrow morning… no social media until 12:00pm of every day.

My decision was and is highly inspired by Starr Adara – a singer, songwriter and producer who has a podcast titled ‘THE ROCKSTARR DIARIES’ available on youtube. She goes on a tangent about wanting to better herself and about consuming less… and creating more. You can listen to her latest episode of ‘THE ROCKSTARR DIARIES’ here

Now I am not a musician or an artist but a blogger who aspires to help others heal and to feel less alone. That alone, might be considered art in a way of it being a beautiful piece of one’s heart.

I now believe that writers do create art by sharing their experiences or by using their creative imagination. It takes courage and empathy to share parts of your life with strangers on the internet.

A part of me will always hold a place in my heart, soul, and in my memory for what I have endured and experienced in the past. Maybe someday, I’ll share what I was originally going to share with you all on the blog. For now, i’m starting to focus on happier things and becoming my best self.
